Port Salerno Community Promotions, Inc. was established in December, 2006 as a non-profit 501(c)4 organization to promote the annual Port Salerno Christmas Jamboree, and other events in the community.

Major activities include the annual Christmas Jamboree, and the annual Port Salerno Seafood Festival, which is presented annually by the Port Salerno Commercial Fishing Dock Authority. Other events have included the annual Independence day Fireworks Celebration. The committee also funded Easter Baskets for the Port Salerno Head Start Program.  Donations have also been given to the Humane Society, Treasure Coast Waterway Cleanup, Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch, Keep Martin Beautiful, Port Salerno Elementary School, and the Big Heart Brigade of the Treasure Coast.

At the annual Port Salerno Christmas Jamboree in 20011, we lit a 50’ Christmas tree, had 5 tons of snow for the kids to play in, had a sound stage with carolers and entertainment, served hot dogs and soda, and featured Mr. & Mrs. Claus arriving via fire truck. Santa’s elves gave away over 400  toys, 60 bicycles. The December 15, 2012, Christmas Jamboree will be bigger and better, with more food and activities, including numerous arts and crafts vendors.

At the 6th  annual Port Salerno Seafood Festival, there were over 150 booths, including 30 different seafood booths, numerous arts and crafts booths, a great variety of community exhibitor booths, and a large children’s play section courtesy of The Grace Place. And delicious seafood galore. Over 35,000 attended. The 7th  annual Seafood Festival is scheduled for Saturday, January 26th 2013. The Seafood Festival is the annual event presented by the Port Salerno Commercial Fishing Dock Authority.
