SALERNO MULLET RACE

A FISH VAT TRIATHLON

Teams of six members…. At least two women.

FIRST LEG:

Push vat with three members in vat from Finz lot to Manatee Park (adjacent to Pirates Loft). Then the other three team members get into vat to be pushed back to Finz parking lot.

SECOND LEG:

Shot-put mullet into the Fish Vat. All six team members shot-put at least once…. Until six mullet are in the vat.

THIRD LEG:

Fish Vat goes into the canal at the boat lifting basin….two members paddle vat to floating dock at East end of Salerno Creek…. Next two members get in and paddle back to floating dock just West of lifting basin…. Last two team members then get in to paddle to finish back at floating dock at East end of creek (adjacent to the large boardwalk deck).

Vendor booths, food booths, beer and wine booths.

50/50 drawings available on each team…. In each heat race… and on the Final race.

Prizes for :
1. Race Winner….. second and third places.
2. Best team spirit and dress.
3. Best Fish Vat decorations.

Proceeds to benefit the annual Port Salerno Christmas Jamboree.
